Our Beliefs

At Ebenezer worship center we joyfully affirm the Apostolic Christian faith and embrace the distinctive witness of Pentecostal spirituality.

Core Beliefs

The Bible

We believe the Scriptures are the inspired Word of God, the final authority for faith and life.

The Trinity

We worship one God who exists eternally in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Salvation

We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, who died and rose again for our redemption.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, empowering believers for holy living and bold witness. Speaking in tongues, as in the book of Acts, is one of the evidences of this baptism.

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, fellowship, discipleship, and mission in the world.

Healing

We believe God still heals today, as a demonstration of His power and compassion.(by his stripes we are healed 1 Peter 2:24)

The Second Coming

We believe in the blessed hope—the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ to reign forever.

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
1 Thessalonians 4:16–17
